About the Role
Key Responsibilities
1. Product & Mold Development
Lead new product development activities from concept to mass production.
Coordinate mold design, fabrication, and qualification.
Review part designs for manufacturability (DFM) and recommend improvements.
Work closely with tooling suppliers to ensure mold quality and compliance.
Approve mold trials, sample validation, and engineering changes.
2. Injection Molding Process Development
Develop and optimize injection molding parameters.
Establish standard process settings and documentation.
Lead mold trials (T0, T1, T2, etc.) and troubleshoot issues such as warpage, shrinkage, flash, and short shots.
Ensure cycle time optimization and cost efficiency.
