The NPD Quality Engineer leads all Quality aspects of new product development, by influencing the customer, the Sensata development team (Design, Process, Program Management, etc.), and the Sensata Manufacturing team.The goal of the NPD Quality Engineer is to achieve flawless execution of product development.A successful NPD Quality Engineer possesses the following strengths: strong leadership, very pro-active, results oriented, strong follow-through, the ability to influence others, a strong technical understanding of Sensata's products, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and the motivation and ability to independently reach across geographical and cultural boundaries to solve problems.
