Network Support Specialist

Tasks

1. 5.1 Provide day-to-day operational support for CJWC distributed network capabilities (CFXNet, CFBLNet, US JTEN and related enclave networks) including incident triage, ticket management, and initial troubleshooting.
2. 5.2 Monitor network health and performance using CJWC toolsets; acknowledge, investigate, and document alarms; perform routine checks and elevate anomalies.
3. 5.3 Implement approved access control changes (e.g., ACL updates, VLAN membership, port security, device account updates) in accordance with change procedures.
4. 5.4 Support the NOC, JBL, and ITB during exercises, experimentation, training, and demonstrations by staging gear, validating connectivity, and executing checklists.
5. 5.5 Perform routine installation, racking/stacking, labeling, and basic configuration of network infrastructure (e.g., switches, routers) following approved build guides.
