About the Role

Piper Companies is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to join a Service Delivery team supporting a key Service Provider account in a hybrid, on-site role based in New York. This is a highly technical, client-facing engineering position focused on post-sales support, network operations, and migration from Cisco to Juniper platforms.
Responsibilities of the Resident Network Engineer include:
Serve as a Juniper SME for the customer, providing hands-on support across MX304, EX switches, SSR routers, and Mist platforms.
Lead operational and engineering efforts including troubleshooting, design support, and industrial engineering tasks.
Provide technical guidance and training to customer teams, including implementation and support personnel.
Facilitate weekly operations calls to review network health, JTAC case status, and ongoing issues.
