Network Operations Engineer

Job Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain enterprise and carrier-grade network infrastructure to support business and operational requirements.
Perform configuration changes, software upgrades, and patching of network devices including Cisco, Juniper, and Nokia equipment.
Deploy and integrate network equipment to support Verizon Wireless (VZW) infrastructure and related network initiatives.
Build and configure routers, switches, and network cabinets, ensuring proper hardware installation and connectivity.
Develop and maintain detailed Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for nighttime and implementation engineers, ensuring accurate, safe, and repeatable execution.
Monitor and analyze network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization and reliability improvements.
Implement and enforce network security best practices, including access controls, hardening, and compliance with security standards.
