Network Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise and carrier-grade network infrastructure to support business and operational requirements.
• Perform configuration changes, software upgrades, and patching of network devices including Cisco, Juniper, and Nokia equipment.
• Deploy and integrate network equipment to support Verizon Wireless (VZW) infrastructure and related network initiatives.
• Build and configure routers, switches, and network cabinets, ensuring proper hardware installation and connectivity.
• Develop and maintain detailed Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for nighttime and implementation engineers, ensuring accurate, safe, and repeatable execution.
• Monitor and analyze network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization and reliability improvements.
• Implement and enforce network security best practices, including access controls, hardening, and compliance with security standards. <...
