Network Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Network Engineer to lead and execute a complex server farm migration. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in data center networking, fabric architectures, and migration validation across both Layer 2 and Layer 3 environments. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including server owners, cabling vendors, and project management, to ensure a smooth cutover with minimal service disruption.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Migration Validations (5 days before migration)

• Review the migration design, migration plan, and dependencies to gain a solid understanding of the customer environment and the Migration MOP.
• Conduct baseline assessments:
• Interface status and administrative state of relevant devices.
• Port-channel and routing adjacency health checks.
• VLAN/VXLAN, VRF, and EVPN configurations to confirm alignment with target fabric.
