Key Responsibilities
- b. Commvault backup administration (Good to Have)
- c. Installing, configuring, and managing SAN/Fibre Channel switches (Brocade, Cisco)
- d. Troubleshooting and resolving major storage and backup outages
- e. Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- f. Setting up Disaster Recovery (DR) sites aligned with RTO/RPO
- g. Managing snapshots, clones, local & remote replication
- h. Backup and recovery operations across large, distributed environments
- i. Daily monitoring, restore jobs, failed job troubleshooting
- j. Preparing capacity & performance reports
- k. Performing backup assessments/audits
- l. Reviewing current architecture & proposing improvements
- n. NAS protocols: NFS, CIFS
- q. Storage virtualization, thin provisioning, tiering, replication
- r. Business continuity, high availability, DR methodologies
