We are looking for a skilled and proactive Shift Engineer to join a well‑established food manufacturing site in Erith. Operating within a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment, you’ll play a key role in ensuring production equipment runs safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands‑on problem‑solving and working as part of a collaborative shift team.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment
• Quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime
• Support production teams to ensure machinery operates at optimal efficiency
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks in line with site schedules
