Multi Grade Primary School Teacher

The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Full-Time Multi Grade Primary School Teacher at Lloyd Garrison School. This full-time position is to commence on August 27, 2026, and will be a continuing, permanent position.

Lloyd Garrison School is situated at Berwyn, Alberta, located about 162 kms from Grande Prairie, Alberta and is located at Ave, Berwyn, AB T0H 0E0. This school has a large Mennonite student body. This is a very remote location.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in teaching in a multi grade environment from grades 1-9
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents
• Ability to contribute to a positive, safe and caring learning environment
• An understanding of rural community and culture
