About the Role

Overview

Oncoustics is a start-up that uses AI on ultrasound data to help find disease. We are looking to hire a freelance Mobile SDK Developer to join our team with deep academic and/or industry experience to help transform a hardware SDK built in C# to work on native platforms like Android (Kotlin/Java).

This position is remote.

Responsibilities

  • Convert the SDK to C++ and integrate with the Android platform (Kotlin/Java) via NDK.

Requirements

  • Experience with C++, NDK, and some knowledge of C# to read the default SDK.
  • Graduate degree in a related field.

Problem Overview

  • Default SDK uses OOP concepts and supports low-level language features.
  • Using C++, there are challenges with OOP language support and Android integration.
  • Using Kotlin/Java, low-level code support is limited.
