Mobile Infrastructure Technician

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Infrastructure Services, the mobile technician role plays a vital part in keeping technology‑based infrastructure running and secure. This is a field‑based role on a rotation schedule, actioning items that require a hands‑on presence locally and performing preventative maintenance as required to ensure systems remain optimized. Travel is required. The role is safety sensitive; pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing is required.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and install network and Internet systems:
  • Local management of network switches, access points, security appliances and aggregation equipment.
  • Replace or maintain systems as required.
  • Ensure high level of standards, cable clean‑up and performance optimization.
