About the Role

CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor to join our Technical Services team at Cape Preston. This is a permanent 8/6 FIFO opportunity from Perth, supporting the construction of a large-scale Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) at Sino Iron.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a significant construction project while utilising modern survey technologies in a complex operational environment.

What you’ll be doing:
Provide survey support across the construction phase of the TSF project

Carry out daily and weekly survey pickups and set-outs

Establish and maintain survey control for construction works

Support Technical Services and project teams with accurate survey data

Complete volume calculations and end-of-month reporting

Monitor prism systems to support safe construction activities
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in mine surveying
