About the Role

The Position

As a Mine Site Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for daily operations, supervison of 5-15 Mine Site Cleaners, reporting to upper level management and cleaning of communal buildings and facilities on the mine site.

  • Cleaning of communal buildings and facilities on site including but not limited to offices, training rooms, crib huts, wash rooms, locker rooms and bath houses

  • Waste removal, power washing pathways and light grounds work

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding and active role, working 11 hour days on your feet

  • Training of new employees

  • Conduct effective prestart meetings

  • Manage performance issues

  • Demonstrate and reinforce safe behaviours, effectively investigating and reporting all hazards/incidents and injuries

  • Prepare and submit performance reports and field leadership as and when required
