Origin by Ocean is a Finnish biotechnology company developing a proprietary biorefinery platform to convert invasive algae into high‑value bio‑based ingredients. Our products, including fucoidan and alginate, serve global markets across personal care, nutraceuticals, food, and materials.

We are currently scaling from pilot operations to our first commercial biorefinery, building the foundation for large‑scale production and international growth.

The Role

We are looking for a Mid-to-Senior Chemical Engineer to help bring our technology from demonstration to full commercial reality.

This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role at the intersection of scale‑up, engineering execution, and production. You will play a key part in translating our biorefinery process into robust, industrial‑scale operations, working closely with engineering partners and internal teams.
