Job Summary
The Metrology and Application Engineer will be responsible for operating advanced metrology and characterization tools, developing applications recipes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support process and technology needs. This role involves tool operation, recipe development, documentation, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure seamless metrology operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate metrology and characterization tools (e.g., ellipsometer, XRF, four‑point probe, defect/optical inspection; SEM/XRD/AFM exposure is a plus) to deliver accurate wafer measurements in compliance with SOPs and BKMs.
Develop and maintain metrology recipes and applications, ensuring accuracy and repeatability; take training on new tools and applications, and work with BU and global/local application teams to implement Best Known Methods (BKMs) and support evolving process and tec...
