Merchandiser - Cold Storage

Job Summary

The Freezer Merchandiser is responsible for receiving, organizing, and stocking products in the freezer section while ensuring accuracy, safety, and proper product rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and unload merchandise into store shelving
• Check products against packing slips (quantity and item numbers)
• Inspect all goods for accuracy and quality
• Stock products in assigned locations
• Rotate stock so items with earlier expiry dates are placed at the front
• Use equipment (e.g., forklift) to move and store products safely

General Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, professional appearance (uniform and name badge required)
• Follow all health and safety guidelines
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Complete required training
• Perform other duties as assigned
