About the Role
Empower younger students as a Student Coordinator this summer with Bluewater District School Board. Contribute to the Landing Success program and earn education credits while leading.
We are looking for two motivated Student Coordinators to assist Indigenous students entering secondary school. This position involves outdoor learning activities designed to bolster students' confidence and skills. Share your own high school experiences to mentor these students on their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the successful transition for grade 8 Indigenous students
• Inform students about secondary school academic and extracurricular activities
• Aid in planning summer transition activities
• Model and support necessary learning skills
• Execute other assigned tasks responsibly
Requirements:
• Enrolled as a Grade 11 or 12 student
• Aged between 15 and 24 years (29 for persons with disabilities)
• Ontario residency required during employmen...
