Key Responsibilities:

- Review and accurately code medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes

- Ensure coding is in compliance with all applicable coding guidelines and regulations

- Abstract and enter patient information into electronic health record systems

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and complete documentation

- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any coding discrepancies or denials

- Stay up-to-date on coding changes and updates in the healthcare industry

- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

- Meet productivity and quality standards set by the company

Qualifications:

- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification required

- Minimum of 2 years of medical coding experience in a healthcare setting
