Insight Global is seeking a Medical Assistant for a top healthcare services client. This individual will support providers in a clinic setting by delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with clinical and laboratory procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Day-to-Day:
• Provide routine patient care under the direction of physicians or clinical supervisors
• Room patients and prepare them for examinations
• Administer medications, immunizations, EKGs, ear lavages, and assist with minor procedures
• Perform venipuncture and manage laboratory duties (drawing, spinning, prepping samples)
• Maintain and stock exam rooms; clean and sterilize instruments
• Manage patient medical records and enter encounters/test requisitions into the system
