Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on glove production machinery (dipping lines, leaching tanks, ovens, conveyors, formers, stripping units, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Conduct routine inspections and servicing of mechanical systems such as motors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, chains, belts, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Assist in installation, alignment, and commissioning of new machines or production lines
• Replace worn or damaged parts and ensure proper machine calibration
• Work closely with production and electrical teams to support continuous operations
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and factory hygiene standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, breakdown reports, and spare parts usage
