Job Description
Mechanical Technician Responsibilities:
- To inspect, clean, maintain, and repair all mechanical and plumbing installations and systems.
- Maintains all lighting throughout hotel/retail.
- To maintain all HVAC units.
- To maintain all motor, belts, bearings, etc.
- To maintain all shop tools and equipment.
- To assist the Security Manager to maintain the Life Safety machinery and equipment, all mechanicals such as pumps and emergency diesel.
- Troubleshoot and repair all equipment that is non-operational.
- Do all necessary welding as required.
- Do all work orders pertain to the hotel.
- Assist other trades as required/retail
- Answer all calls and does repairs, if unable to do repairs, must notify the supervisor of the problem.
- Perform chemical test for boilers, chillers, swimming pool, etc.
- Operate BMS computer system.
