Job Title

Mechanical Supervisor – Temporary – Chelmsford – £30ph

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate mechanical installation works on-site.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure work is carried out to specification and programme.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers and other trades.
• Assist with planning, progress reporting and problem‑solving on-site.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card and SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial construction projects.
• Previous experience in commercial projects preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage a temporary workforce.
