• Designs and documents fixtures, tooling and equipment using CAD.
• Identifies opportunities for modular/universal solutions to cover the needs of multiple processes.
• Work with machinists both internal and external to improve manufacturability of designs.
• Responsible for managing the ordering, receiving, and assembling of machined parts.
• Follow up the designs release to the system thru the change order process.
• Ensure designs are machined to specification and producing expected results.
• Document designs fully such that they can be easily replicated.
• Devises and implements cost reduction/process improvement programs.
• Assist on document validation results of fixtures, tooling, equipment implemented.
