🛠️ Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter with strong hands-on skills in the maintenance, overhaul and fault-finding of pumps, generators and associated mechanical equipment. This role involves both workshop based work, supporting our operations with reliable mechanical service and equipment uptime.
About the Role:
- Service, repair and overhaul pumps, generators, engines and rotating equipment
- Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical failures and implement effective repair solutions
- Perform strip-downs, rebuilds and testing of mechanical components
- Install, align and commission mechanical equipment on-site
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports
- Ensure all tasks comply with safety standards and procedures
