Mechanical Fitter / Engineer needed in a fast-paced engineering environment, engineering excellence on shift ensures production targets are consistently achieved.
Mechanical Fitter / Engineer Key Responsibilities:
Fitting and turning on lathes
TIG welding, particularly stainless steel
Mechanical fitting, assembly, and repair of components
Carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance
Fault finding and repair of mechanical equipment
Working from engineering drawings and specifications
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
Mechanical Fitter / Engineer Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Engineer
Strong experience with fitting and turning lathes
Skilled in TIG welding stainless steel
Good mechanical knowledge and maintenance experience
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
