The Designer will work with the Technical Lead, Chief Design Engineer, and Head of Engineering to ensure the technical efficacy, reliability, quality and safety of the product components and has a responsibility for the technical design solution and configuration management. The role involves performing detailed design activities including the development of 2D and 3D CAD product assemblies, models, and drawings; creating system and component integrated solutions for Naval Handling Systems. An individual in this role will be a self-motivator and have good communication and leadership skills coupled with an applied knowledge of engineering principles, design, manufacturing, and production methods.
