Mechanical Engineer

**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Understands the products, suggesting ideas and improvements back to group.
- Assists with creation, reviewing, and systems-entry of new product specifications, ECNs, tests, procedures, user manuals, submittal drawings, and sales literature.
- Creates/modifies mechanical drawings/parts in CAD systems, such as CREO.
- Assists with troubleshooting of escalated or re-occurring field issues.
- Performs lab testing of products.Works closely with technicians and junior engineers, providing technical support and guidance.
**QUALIFICATIONS- Less than 2 years of engineering product development or support experience.
- Sheetmetal design experience- Basic working knowledge of mechanical concepts, products, safety and test-methods.
- Ability to follow, create, and organize testing and instructional procedures.
