Mechanical Engineer

Established multi-disciplined consulting firm is looking to add a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to their Madison, Wisconsin team! Responsibilities: Primary engineering contact for architectural K-12 and public-sector projects Collaborate with other disciplines to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into building designs Coordinate with utilities, permitting agencies, and code authorities to secure timely approvals Participate in public and board meetings as needed for school and municipal projects Mentor/train junior staff Lead mechanical system design for a variety of building types (HVAC systems, ventilation and energy recovery systems, building automation and controls integration) Design of domestic water, sanitary, and storm plumbing systems Conduct load calculations, equipment sizing, pressure loss analysis, and energy modeling Develop detailed construction drawings and specifications using Revit, AutoCAD, and other design tools Stamp and certify mechanical construction ...
