Mechanical Engineer I

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supporting process/product improvement and new product development to ensure they meet performance, quality, manufacturing, and cost requirements.  S/He must be able to work well in a team environment and possess effective communication skills and technical expertise.

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 1+ years of industry experience in a product development and manufacturing environment.

Knowledge

• Intermediate proficiency in NX required
• Intermediate knowledge of materials and processes
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of sheet metal
• Basic knowledge of product development best practices such as DFM, DOE, DFMEA, and Lean PD.
