About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer at Babcock, you’ll apply your technical expertise to deliver practical, high-quality engineering solutions that support the delivery of our products and services. You’ll play a key role in supporting refurbishment activities, resolving configuration and design challenges, and ensuring that technical outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

In this role, you’ll be hands-on with a variety of engineering tasks — from conducting technical investigations and configuration control surveys to supporting set-to-work, testing, and trials. You’ll contribute to the creation and maintenance of accurate technical documentation, ensuring that knowledge and insights are captured effectively throughout the engineering lifecycle. Your work will directly influence product performance, reliability, and safety across critical programs.
