Responsibilities
- Assists the Senior Manager in managing the safe, effective and efficient preparation, cleaning
- and repair of passenger trains so that the required number of trains is continuously provided
- for passenger service
- Manages, leads and motivates a group of Senior / Assistant Engineers and Senior / Technicians
- in the corrective and preventive maintenance of the DTL passenger trains
- Provides technical investigations and analyze structural, system or component problems on
- rolling stock and recommend solutions and trials
- Leads the reliability growth program for DTL passenger trains
- Supervises and co-ordinates implementation of modification works and fleet-wide checks
- Monitors the performance of trial modifications and prepare reports recommending adoption
