Mechanical Designer (Quebec City)

Role Overview

We are partnering with a well‑established Canadian manufacturer that designs and fabricates custom stainless‑steel equipment for the food processing, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors.

Your Role

Reporting to the Design Department, you will play a key role in developing and delivering custom industrial equipment projects from concept to manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Designing and modeling industrial equipment using Solid Edge
• Producing manufacturing, assembly and detailed technical drawings
• Developing customized engineering solutions based on customer requirements
• Preparing technical specifications and design calculations
• Updating and improving existing designs when required
• Conducting occasional site visits and field measurements
• Working closely with project managers, production teams and technical stakeholders
