Mechanical Designer

The Mechanical Designer supports the development of mechanical components for Sonova hearing products, from early concept through product launch. This role focuses on high-precision design, hands-on problem solving, and collaboration with production teams to ensure quality, functionality, and manufacturability.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop precision plastic and sheet-metal components for miniature, injection-molded products using Creo (Pro/ENGINEER)
• Create and document inspection criteria for components and materials
• Participate in engineering problem-solving throughout development, tooling, and molding stages• Conduct hands-on prototyping and testing from concept to mass production
• Inspect parts for compliance with design intent and quality standards
