Mechanical Designer Co-op|Mining & Metals

Our Mining Division in Eastern Canada is growing, and we are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Designer co-op to join our team in the Burlington office. This will be a fall term co-op.

About The Role

• Prepare high level 2D and 3D models of mineral processing equipment such as belt conveyors, tanks, pumps, crushers, mills, etc.
• Help in the design and preparation of 2D and 3D models of mineral processing plants
• Under supervision of a senior designer, prepare mechanical layout and detail drawings in line with project requirements.
• Interface with other disciplines (Structural, process, layout, mechanical, piping, electrical) to ensure drawings incorporated other discipline requirements.
• Liaise with engineers for direction, specifications and feedback
• Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects.
