Mechanical Design Engineer Centurion

We are recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive knowledge of and a passion in either Aerospace, Aviation or Defense.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical design
• In-depth knowledge of Fusion 360 or other 3D CAD software
• Additive manufacturing experience advantageous (3D printing rapid prototyping)
• Preference given to knowledge of optical system design
• Experience in aerospace or other standards and process driven industries
• Investigative mind inclined toward developing practical solutions to real-world problems
• Hands-on approach and proficiency with machinery including lathe, CNC and general tools
• Extensive knowledge of fabrication processes, especially machining & plastic injection molding
• Ability to plan, schedule, collaborate and problem solve effectively
