Mechanical Assistant

The Mechanical Assistant role provides for the ongoing daily and seasonal maintenance needs for all Maligne Lake fleet (boat & vehcile) and on location mechanical service’s needs.

This is a dynamic role and will include any, or all, of the following:

• Assist the fleet maintenance manager and lead mechanic as required in all maintenance assistance with cruise boat & ground fleet needs.
• This may include supporting engine and stern drive rebuilds/repairs, parts installation and servicing, Oil and fluid changes and minor cabin repairs (interior and some electrical)
• Performing daily maintenance checks as assigned
• Supporting general facility maintenance needs for onsite mechanical needs (Power generator engines, HVAC, minor repairs to kitchen service equipment)
• Completing general repairs within scope of experience/skill including minor carpentry, plumbing, and light equipment operations
• Picking up supplies
