Math Intern

The Applied Sciences Laboratory at SRI International is seeking a Summer Intern to conduct research and development in the areas of mathematics of generative AI models (specifically large language models), scalable graph analysis methods, and network sciences. Experience with implementing scalable software associated with these areas is highly desired. The position will support a new computational and mathematical sciences team at SRI International. Our team focuses on the development of new algorithms for a wide variety of exciting applications including supply chain networks, social graphs, optimization of generative AI models, material failures, and biological systems. The aim of the team is to conduct and publish research at top venues and assist SRI in commercializing relevant technologies by filing patents and spinning out start‐ups.
