Materials Specialist (Colombia)

Position Summary

As a member of the Field Services Americas team, you will support our customer (CPKC) in maintaining their fleet of Wabtec locomotives through exceptional materials management and logistics support.

Responsibilities

• Material handling and support for the end customer, including pulling materials from the warehouse for shop use and ensuring correct issuance to locomotives.
• Manage weekly stockouts, obtain updated ETAs for stocked‑out or low‑stock parts.
• Perform inventory management via cycle counts and lead coordination of the annual physical inventory.
• Forecast material needs for inbound and in‑shop locomotives and procure needed material efficiently.
• Conduct quality control on inbound and outbound shipments, checking documentation for discrepancies and resolving transportation delays.
