Materials Control Manager

Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Mississauga has a great opportunity for a Material Control Manager . This position is responsible for the overall Master Scheduling, Capacity Planning, development and maintenance of our inventory management systems and overseeing the daily operation of Production Control and dispatching functions. This includes acceptance of sales orders to create detailed capacity plans plus plant and supplier schedules using the MRP systems. This position is responsible for the release of the work to the shop in a timely fashion as well as the management of Engineering changes' effects on the materials. Key to the position is the ability to constantly balance capacity and material availability with the customer requirements so as to complete them in a timely and cost-effective manner.
