Job Description

• Strategic Planning: Develop & implement material strategies, balancing costs, availability, and production needs, especially for New Product Introductions (NPI).
• Demand & Inventory Management: Analyze forecasts, production schedules, and demand to set optimal stock levels, preventing stockouts or overstock.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Engineering (ECN implementation), Procurement, Production, and Logistics to align material flow with overall goals.
• Supplier & Performance: Monitor supplier quality/delivery, potentially negotiating contracts, and managing material allocation during constraints.
• Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve material planning systems (MRP/ERP).
