Material Planner

Job Summary

The Material Planner is responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling raw materials and production consumables to support semiconductor manufacturing operations. This role ensures material availability aligns with production schedules while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing shortages or excess stock.

Key Responsibilities1. Material Planning & Control

• Plan and manage raw materials, WIP, and packaging materials to meet production demand.
• Generate and maintain material requirement planning (MRP) based on forecast and firm orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock coverage (DOH).

• Prevent line down situations due to material shortages.

• Supplier & Procurement Coordination

• Coordinate with Procurement for PO issuance and delivery follow-up.

• Track supplier delivery performance and escalate delays.
