Material Management Engineer

Overview

The main responsibility is to manage all material deliveries, storage, and issuance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the warehouse team, storekeepers, warehouse assistants, and material controllers; prepare team schedules; conduct daily team briefings and weekly meetings; prepare team action plans in Excel.
• Preparation works: manage the preparation of warehouses and yards; ensure all storage facilities are operational, secured, and safe (barricaded, vermin-free, safety signage, firefighting, CCTV, protected against thefts, etc); source external warehouses, yards, equipment rental, etc; source suppliers for unloading (crane, forklifts, trucks, etc); update daily the Supplier documentation tracker; coordinate with the Site team (QCs and Supervisors) to ensure all storage and handling manuals, packing lists are available and acceptable; coordinate and review supplier packing lists prior to Release for shipment; estimate storage areas (m2 and...
