About the Role
Job Title: Material Handler
Pay rate: $21/HR
Join our warehouse team as a Material Handler working in a busy, hands-on environment. You’ll be part of a crew that processes batteries for recycling and distribution, handling everything from shipping & receiving to helping out in the retail space as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and move batteries (5–100 lbs); team lift for items over 50 lbs
- Build and shrink-wrap pallets of batteries (new, used, recycled) for processing and shipping
- Use warehouse equipment and carts to transport batteries
- Pull batteries from retail space as required
- Process shipments in and out of the warehouse
- Assist with inventory control; scanner training provided
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Provide basic customer service in retail area
