Manufacturing Technician

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Manufacturing Technician in the Life Sciences Industry in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our client is a major Life Sciences client in the field of vision health. They are urgently seeking a temporary Manufacturing Technician to cover a medical leave. This position would ideally start mid-June and end by the end of September, with the possibility of being extended.

Responsibilities

• Deblocking and cleaning lenses as they come off the edgers, mounting them into frames, and cleaning chucks while applying new leap pads.
• Day end cleaning of edging equipment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of production/manufacturing experience (ideal).
• Lens experience considered an asset.

Compensation

• $18.20 hourly.
• Weekly consistent pay including 4% vacation premium.
• Soft skills: strong communication and the ability to work well within a team.
