Role Summary
Own end-to-end manufacturing sourcing and supplier control for hardware and IoT products manufactured through ODM / EMS partners, primarily in China. Responsible for cost, quality, delivery, and supplier governance from pilot to scale.
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, select, and manage ODM / EMS and key component suppliers
- Own BOM cost targets, landed cost targets, tooling and NRE budgets
- Drive cost-down and savings programs post-pilot
- Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms, SLAs, and penalties
- Own supplier quality, delivery, and scale readiness
