Manufacturing Engineering Manager

A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in East Sussex. The company is a global centre of excellence specialising in the design and manufacture of electronic controllers, instrumentation, and drives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the NPI Development team and liaise with design staff to ensure overall quality and delivery of new parts to the highest standards.
• Ensure proposed design concepts can be manufactured cost‑effectively.
• Oversee prototype builds of products, prepare relevant documentation, and actively participate in PFMEAs and DFMEs.
• Collaborate with Operations personnel to optimise and layout assembly areas, and define assembly tooling for the NPI build.
• Provide guidance and leadership to manufacturing or production teams.

• Experience with PCBA and leading a manufacturing or production team.
