The client are a leading global manufacturer of precision-forged and machined components.
They are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Redditch. The successful candidate will be responsible optimising manufacturing processes, improving product quality and production efficiency. Also to support the NPI projects into production.
Key responsibilities and duties
To analyse, develop and optimise manufacturing processes to maximise quality, efficiency, cost effectiveness and health and safety. Ensure strong process control and process capability across the manufacturing function of the operations. To apply lean manufacturing and industrial engineering optimisation techniques including kaizen, time studies, line balancing and value stream mapping.
