manufacturing design engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge on product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.

Assures product and process quality by researching, designing, evaluating, and modifying; testing finished product and process capabilities; establishing standards in manufacturing processes.

Maintains professional and technical competence through active participation in internal and external learning activities, research, and studies of knowledge and skills extending to an area of practice and involvement in other activities as deemed necessary by the company.

Provides technical assistance regarding new product developments, product evaluations, and quality investigations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering.
