In this role you will lead a team to encourage residents to participate in meaningful activities that are both familiar and new which provide overall well- being and quality of life.Key Responsibilities: Collaborate – Develop, plan, organize and implement resident programs to improve the resident experience Comply – with Extendicare’s Guiding Principles and regulatory requirements & Resident Bill of RightsQualifications:• Post-secondary education in Recreation Therapy or Therapeutic Recreation.• Minimum one (1) year experience in health care setting• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in program planning, implementation,• Excellent communication and leadership skills• Proficiency in Activity Pro, Point Click Care, RAI-MDS and care planning is an asset.
